Leach International introduces Series HB, Light-weight, Busbar-mount AC Contactors
BUENA PARK, Calif. -- A complete line of technologically-advanced busbar-mount AC contactors, featuring a lightweight yet durable design, has been developed by Leach International. Constructed for use in any high-current, AC electrical distribution system, the Series HB contactors are engineered for easy assembly into a busbar-configured distribution system. Although the design is new, this line of light-weight busbar-mount AC contactors relies on the time-tested, proven technology of the Series H contactor.
With five different models from which to choose, this new line provides for easy customization to specific current load requirements. The compact size allows for the manufacture of smaller assemblies, and the rugged design can withstand severe vibration, shock and thermal environments. In addition, the lightweight construction reduces costs to the end user. All versions meet the design and performance requirements of MIL-PRF-6106.
The 60-amp Series HB busbar-mount latching and nonlatching versions are available in 3PDT or 3PST. The 50-amp center-off version is available in the 3PDT configuration. They are rated at 115Vac, 400Hz, 1-Phase and 115/200 Vac, 400 Hz, 3-Phase. Special units, including models with auxiliary contacts or DC ratings, are available upon request.
