Leach International North America Earns ISO 9001 Approval
BUENA PARK, Calif. -- Leach International North America has received multi-site approval for ISO 9001 registration from the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), according to Mark Thek, president.
The ISO 9001 registration covers all three of the company's North American plants, including the Buena Park, Calif.-based relay, hybrid, contactor and microcircuit facility; the Anaheim, Calif.-based header/plating facility; and the coil winding/assembly plant located in Tijuana, Mexico. Leach International North America also has certifications to quality systems such as MIL-STD-790 and D1-9000.
ISO is an international standard for quality management systems, under the jurisdiction of the International Organization for Standards, based in Switzerland.
Leach International Europe, SA, facilities in Sarralbe and Niort, France, also have ISO 9001 and MIL standard 790 approval.
